It's ftw. Just found out about it myself getting it out of a chest in GW:EN. No records in wiki prior, no auctions, and one pc check that got closed. Is it just rare, or could it have been added in a recent update? Added some info about it here.

edit: The one I found I have put up for sale here!

Arrgh, pisses me off. I deleted my dervish a couple of months ago because I didn't like playing a derv. Thing is, his name was Cronus Timereaper - this scythe would've fit him perfectly! Well, guess that showed me.

So yeah, pretty freakin sweet. This one and the Asuran scythe are the coolest skins I've seen yet. Nice job, Anet!

I have to say, that is a very impressive weapon. Definitely makes me want to start work on my Dervish. BTW, for those who do have it, does it have any animation to it??

Wow that is very nice, just think you could sell that and complete you own hall of monuments. Then all your effort and hard work of a few hours will blow over onto GW2 for a lucky chest drop.

Speaking of attaching images... would someone mind attaching the pic of the Clockwork Scythe? Guildwiki and image-linking sites are blocked to me here.


Incidentally... the Bonecage Scythe is pretty nice but looks more axey than scythey.

Uploaded the screenshot here. And no, it doesn't have any animation unfortunately. Also when you dye it, the whole scythe chances color - the handle fully changes and certain portions of the clockwork and blade change more than other portions.

You would love Nightfall. The Dervish is a lot of fun to play I am told. I could not get into it myself, but love having them on my team.

For the record, I am not a melee kinda guy. Like ranged attacks.

looking nice.. how bout a saurian scythe? I just got them as a drop,
they look pretty wicked but im not sure if they're rare or not?

sry to change subject but i couldn't find them on auction as well so i had to ask.
